The International Advisory and Coordination Staff (IACS) coordinates the support provided by independent international advisers to the EASF in order to (a) prevent duplicate efforts, (b) increase synergies and integration across the support provided, and (c) reduce the cost and administration associated with the embedment of advisers to the EASF.
The independent international advisers in IACS provide support and assistance to the EASF under bilateral agreements and programs.
When possible, advisers aim to share costs and risks through co-funding of projects and activities both within the IACS but also with other bilateral advisers and with the EASF's own budget.
